I've known Mia's family for years, and when I learned about her leukemia diagnosis, I knew I wanted to do something to help.

My first idea was a simple calendar fundraiser. But as a REALTOR®, I started thinking differently.

Instead of selling calendar squares, what if we built a Dream House?

Each window could represent a donated raffle prize. Businesses could sponsor different parts of the house. Friends, family, neighbors, and local businesses could all come together to help build something special for Mia—one piece at a time.

Then another idea came to me.

What if Mia could color her Dream House as our community continued building it?

Before Mia even received her Dream House, every section of the original house had already been sponsored. Watching our community come together so quickly was something I'll never forget.

Today, Mia gets to color her Dream House while seeing just how many people are standing beside her throughout this journey.

As I spent more time talking with Mia's family, her mom shared something that stayed with me.

She dreamed of one day giving Mia a backyard swing set—a place where she could laugh, play with friends, and simply enjoy being a kid again.

That conversation inspired something much bigger.

Without Mia knowing, we've been working behind the scenes to turn that dream into a magical surprise.

We're currently partnering with generous sponsors and an incredible nonprofit in hopes of making that surprise a reality.

If we're successful, every additional raffle ticket sold, sponsorship received, and donation made can go directly toward supporting Mia and her family throughout her journey.

Very few people know about this surprise, and we're excited for the day Mia gets to discover just how much love has been quietly built for her behind the scenes.
